Privacy Notice

Effective November 1, 2026

VUERZ Inc. is the technology company supporting the VUERZ companies and their services. This notice explains how VUERZ handles information for vuerz.com and sign-in services that identify VUERZ as their technology provider.

VUERZ Media signup, payments and uploads

For a Media signup request, we collect the applicant’s name and email address, the inmate’s full name and identification number, the facility selected from our Zoho directory, and the applicant’s relationship to that person. We use these details to verify service eligibility, review the request, assign the correct private library, and manage access. Signup details and review status are stored in Zoho CRM and our application database. Submitting a request does not itself grant access.

Stripe handles payment through its secure checkout. Our service receives purchase amounts, transaction references and payment status to provide the purchased upload credits. Do not send payment card details through the signup form or support email. Read Stripe’s Privacy Policy.

Uploaded photos and videos are stored and processed to check file validity, review content and deliver approved media to the assigned library. Facility rules and authorization still apply. Authorized service personnel and the relevant facility may review media for these purposes. Contact VUERZ about corrections to signup details, access, a failed upload or the handling of your media.

Which organization handles your information

VUERZ provides technology for GovSecureStream, Judith Lawrence AI, Reentry Address, TaskDJA and VUERZ Memories. Compassionate Reprieve is an independent nonprofit partner, not a VUERZ-owned company. Providing technology does not make every participating organization the same business or give every company access to your records.

The organization providing a particular service remains responsible for its service decisions and its own records. When VUERZ hosts or processes those records for that organization, its instructions and service agreements govern that work. Read the privacy notice presented by that service for details about case records, uploaded media, facility activity, payments or other product-specific information. This notice does not replace those notices.

Information we receive

When you contact us, we receive the information you choose to send, such as your name, email address and message. When you use a VUERZ sign-in service, we receive account identifiers, sign-in results and the profile details you authorize your identity provider to share, such as your name, email address and profile image. Google sign-in does not give VUERZ your Google password.

Our hosting and identity systems process technical information such as IP address, browser and device details, request times, sign-in events and errors to deliver the service and detect misuse. Cookies or browser storage may maintain a sign-in session and protect the authentication flow. Different products may have additional features, data collection and notices.

How we use information

We use this information to respond to inquiries, verify identity, deliver requested technology services, apply account and application permissions, troubleshoot problems, prevent abuse and meet applicable obligations. Signing in verifies identity; it does not automatically authorize access to every VUERZ company, facility or customer record.

Service providers and disclosures

We use Cloudflare for hosting and network services and Auth0 for the VUERZ authentication pilot. If you choose Google sign-in, Google also processes information under its own privacy policy. These providers process information needed for their functions. The provider configuration and available sign-in methods can differ by application.

We share information with the relevant service operator when needed to provide the service you request, with providers supporting that work, or when required by law or necessary to address fraud, security incidents or threats to safety. A shared login does not by itself permit sharing unrelated company or facility records.

Provider notices are available from Cloudflare, Okta/Auth0 and Google.

Retention and security

Retention depends on the information, its purpose, the relevant service agreement and applicable requirements. Account information, security logs and service records can have different retention periods. Contact us for the period applicable to your request. Closing an account does not necessarily delete records an operator must retain.

We use access controls and authentication safeguards to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Providers may process information in the United States or other countries where they operate.

Your choices and requests

You can choose whether to contact us or use an optional sign-in provider. Some information is necessary to provide an account or requested service. To request access, correction or deletion, or to raise a privacy concern, contact info@vuerz.com. We may need to verify your identity and coordinate with the organization responsible for the records. Rights and exceptions depend on your location and the information involved.

You can also manage a connected account through your identity provider. Removing a Google connection does not automatically delete records held by a service operator. Browser controls let you manage cookies, but disabling essential storage can prevent sign-in.

Children and sensitive information

This corporate website and its general sign-in pilot are not intended for children under 13. Do not send medical details, legal documents, custody records or account credentials to the general contact email. Use the approved channel for the service involved. Facility and supervised-use services require their own authorization and handling rules.
